And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The AWS Cloud logistics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation & Warehousing Manager with a background in logistics operations to manage the day-to-day operations for one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. This is an exciting opportunity to join an agile and driven team while ensuring the highest standards of services and safety compliance.An ideal candidate has a background in transport & supply chain operations and data center logistics, with excellent data-driven problem resolution skills. They should have experience implementing protocols, driving performance improvements and managing third party vendors. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there's nothing we can't achieve in the cloud.Basic qualifications 6+ years of related industry experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company Preferred qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)
