Overview You will be reporting to the Head of Personal Wealth Banking covering all aspects of internal sales force management and will be part of the segment's management team crafting the strategic direction, innovation and sales culture towards sales excellence for the retail business in PFS. You will be leading a team of Team Heads in both Personal and Wealth Banking with around 50 to 60 Personal Bankers and Relationship Managers either at branches or in sales officers. This role requires strong people management skills that foster a team culture capable of driving a positive sales environment and results. You will nurture sales leaders, implement the right operating rhythm for bankers to adopt, and drive ownership. The role requires a balance between delivering sales performance with a strong sense of compliance and regulatory adherence. A collaborative mindset with key stakeholders such as Channels, Customer Franchise and Wealth Product teams is essential to deliver sales, craft enabling processes, and provide pivotal training/advisory support on banker performance. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Team Heads across Personal and Wealth Banking, managing 50–60 Personal Bankers and Relationship Managers. Foster a high-performance sales culture while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain the operating rhythm for bankers to drive sales ownership and results. Collaborate with Channels, Customer Franchise and Wealth Product teams to deliver sales enablement and training. Provide advisory support on banker performance and training needs. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Excel with VLOOKUP and running macros Familiarity with vendor and invoice management processes Proficient in using PowerPoint for creating presentations and reports Independent, proactive and self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and good problem solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Strong written and oral communication skills Organized, methodical and detailed Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities Able to work independently and in a team Dedicated and hardworking with high degree of accountability and integrity Good follow-up in tracking updates from various parties for closure on a week-to-week basis Proficient in performing document updates and maintaining SOPs and SharePoint site content updates as required Comfortable in running reports on different platforms: PPM, JIRA, QLIK, etc. Responsible and takes pride in meeting deadlines Additional Requirements CMFAS HI - Certificate in Health Insurance - Singapore CMFAS M5 - Rules & Regulations for Financial Advisory Services - Singapore CMFAS M8A - Collective Investment Schemes II - Singapore CMFAS M8 - Collective Investment Schemes - Singapore CMFAS M9A - Life Insurance and Investment-Linked Policies II - Singapore CMFAS M9 - Life Insurance & Investment-Linked Policies - Singapore University-Bachelor - Accounting & Finance EEO UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
