We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Vice President, Cluster Head.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Lead all the teams in the Cluster to deliver the Cluster, IWH and WPB performance measures and Country Strategic Plan
- Manage & coach the Premier and Premier Elite Market Heads and Relationship Managers to drive performance with a hands-on style to grow the Cluster’s capability in understanding customers better through understanding of the countries’ culture and language affinity, productivity and customer experience level
- To collaboratively build and grow a strong presence in Singapore and the countries/ regions the Cluster covers
- Lead the Cluster in line with the processes and cross borders compliance as depicted in the cross border manual and other operational guidelines so to achieve consistency of management of the staff and delivery of service and sales to non-resident clients
- Monitor and act on daily customer management activity by active usage of internal information tools to coach the team and achieve the business goals
- To generate significant awareness of the HSBC International proposition in the region, and to encourage co-operation between other HSBC Countries Markets and local country in servicing customer needs. The role holder will also need to manage policy, system procedural, compliance procedures, and changes in line with Group directives and staff expectations from a remote office location, across applicable legal jurisdictions, external regulators and time zones
- Positively position Overseas Chinese and Overseas Indian proposition in order to help increase quality referrals across Global Premier as part of BAU customer need assessment
- Develop and deliver training and information material on Overseas Chinese and Overseas Indian proposition to branch network and IBC. Work closely with the local branch network to ensure challenges in relation to group referrals are addressed
- Support the development of strategic plans to grow the corridor through new Premier customer acquisition across various sources &continuously develop new acquisition channels and alliances
- Customer event for in country and oversees for customer engagement and customer acquisition
- Lead in the formulation and implementation of cross-border business development initiatives and deepening of relationships with partner sites
- Drive internal communications and implementation of sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives to the IWH team
- Maintain good relationships and collaborate with respective corridors stakeholders to enable international collaboration and growth of the Cluster within IWH

Customers / Stakeholders
- Use the principles and guidelines in Global Standards and IWH Offshore manuals to ensure we know our customers and deliver our product and services accordance to regulatory and cross border requirements
- Delivering quality execution only/ Enhanced Execution only trades for clients through collaborating with specialists and other departments
- Grow the Client base by working closely with the stakeholders in the respective markets in the cluster
- Supporting championing the Financial Crime policy and processes to deliver enhancements to how HSBC detects, deters and prevents financial crime

Leadership & Teamwork
- Lead, manage and coach the Market Heads and Relationship Managers
- Performance Management, People Development and resourcing of the business
- Train, maintain and develop the leadership of the Market Heads to a level appropriate for the market and commensurate with centrally agreed resource plans
