Reporting to the CFO Cluster Asia, the position leads Procurement for the Cluster Asia Region in developing a best-in-class function, capable of delivering value in an efficient and effective manner through a high performing team.
The position is primarily responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing category sourcing management, talent management, performance management, stakeholder management, risk management, key supplier relationship management and systems /processes for this region in alignment with the individual country business unit management (Gemba), Suntory global procurement and other regional procurement teams.

**Responsibilities**:
**Manages Performance management/measurement**:

- Follows SBFI OneSong Sheet key performance indicators (KPIs) measurement in line with local/regional/global / function objectives & ensures its implementation
- Ensures measurement criteria are aligned & implemented
- Establishes the regional functional operating budget

**Supply Risk Management**:

- Collaborates with COE, Global Category leads, Procurement Heads, R&D, Suppliers to set risk management strategies for key & non-key bottleneck items

**Category sourcing management and negotiations**:

- Collaborates with Global and Regional category leads in the development and execution of category sourcing strategies
- Develops supplier relationships with key suppliers
- Collaborates with Global and Regional category leads on key negotiations and assists

**Category Procurement in Innovation (NPD’s)**:

- Collaborates with Global category leads and CA business leads to determine the innovation opportunities and sets category sourcing strategy to deliver desired NPD outcomes

**Strategic Updates to CA EXCOM:

- **
- Provides strategic direction on key commodities for Mid Term planning
- Provides strategic updates to CA EXCOM and Business division’s Senior Management on key strategic procurement matters in the region

**Manage processes /systems**:

- Ensures full Coupa adoption and compliance, in line with SBFI Policy
- Ensures right processes are aligned & operating model are set up
- Identifies & documents SOP’s for business enhancements
- Ensures adequate controls & segregation are in place

**Contract Management & Audit**:

- Reviews and approves CAs legal contracts
- Reviews and approves non-standard purchase agreements for appropriate T & C’s in alignment with users (SBFA Indirect items)
- Ensures adequate controls & segregation are in place

**Sustainability: -**
- Collaborate with COE ESG Lead and SBFI teams & suppliers to implement sustainability targets
- Collaborate with SGP/BU’s to drive Sedex activities in the region

**Talent Management**:

- Determines organizational structure requirements & conducts functional talent assessments to set talent management
- Identifies requirements & acquires talent with high capability
- Manages and develops resources for a high performing team
- Performs & ensures all direct reports complete periodical performance review and career conversation (Success factors)
- Minimum 5 years of Procurement Leadership / Strategic Sourcing (End to End over various roles ) in large FMCG companies
- Has been in a leadership role for minimum of 5 years in multinational environment
