Our client is a established and rapidly growing food / ingredients organisation going through a period of considerable positive growth and change. The Global Head of Procurement reports to the CEO and leads and mentors a diverse team of procurement and buying professionals. Responsibilities Driving strategy & long-term business planning Overseeing and executing all procurement activities across all categories, and instrumental in delivering the growth agenda Drive the Procurement strategy and plans across all categories to deliver against the business objectives, whilst also delivering the budget Drive continuous improvement across the business, creating and implementing best practice across the function Lead the sourcing cycle for buying, driving the negotiation process Supporting the team to negotiate all contracts with suppliers to achieve the most competitive pricing and strong availability across all Procurement categories Lead negotiation for all key suppliers Collaborate with supply chain and finance leadership to deliver against business plans Key requirements Extensive commercial sourcing and procurement experience, ideally within food service, food ingredients, FMCG Experience managing both inhouse and outsourced models for procurement Proven capability to set category strategy and plans Financially and commercially astute, with experience of making tough decisions and prioritising positive change programmes #J-18808-Ljbffr
