Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Laser Project Director to lead and execute laser-based projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, project management skills, and experience in the laser industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide frontline support and problem-solving with factory backend support.
- Possess a strong understanding of laser technology, applications, and industry trends.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Collaborate with laser engineers to develop innovative solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate laser systems and components for project requirements.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into project requirements.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales / project management, preferably in the laser industry.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong technical knowledge of laser systems and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in Hindi is a plus.
- Ability to travel to India or domestic to customer site (50% of time).
