Senior Laser Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Laser Project Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating laser project planning, execution, and delivery. This includes:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.

In addition to project coordination, the Senior Laser Project Coordinator will also be responsible for:

  • Providing frontline support, problem-solving with factory backend support.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of laser technology, applications, and industry trends.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Collaborating with laser engineers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate laser systems and components for project requirements.
  • Managing project risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales/Project Management, preferably in the laser industry.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of laser systems and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel to India or domestic to customer site (30-50% of time).
  • PMP certification would be a plus.
