Reporting to our Chief Member Experience Officer, you will drive and oversee strategic growth initiatives from concept to execution. You will also manage our high-impact regional and global projects and identify new business opportunities.
Your key duties will include:
Ensuring regional alignment with organisational goals and market opportunities, while fostering cross-departmental collaboration in a matrixed environment for seamless execution and impact.
Providing leadership, strategic insight, and global context to enterprise cross-functional projects.
Influencing, negotiating, and securing cross-departmental buy-in to foster a culture of shared ownership and accountability. Align stakeholders across diverse business areas, ensuring clear communication, integrated execution, and successful delivery of initiatives that drive sustainable growth and innovation.
Identifying new business opportunities and scaling successful initiatives to expand CPA Australia's presence. Ensuring strategic alignment across functions to enhance member engagement, drive revenue, and maximise organisational impact.
Proactively supporting business development and engagement initiatives by driving acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term profitability through innovative and data-driven strategies.
Partnering with Business Development teams to create and implement strategies to drive membership acquisition, retention, and professional development sales.
Supporting regional teams in identifying and developing high-value partnerships to strengthen member pipelines and enhance CPA Australia's market position.
About you:
You will be Tertiary qualified with a preference for Masters study and have extensive experience as a field sales growth management leader in Business Intelligence, Enterprise solutions, or Education Programs directly and through a partner network. You will also:
Have experience in managing cross-functional projects from conceptualisation through execution.
Understand two-tier channel partner business models, with a proven track record of developing sustainable and successful partnerships.
Demonstrated experience working with commercial teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, project roadmaps, and implementation plans, particularly in emerging markets.
Proven ability to analyse go-to-market approaches, develop joint value propositions, and build business cases for strategic projects and partnerships.
Strong cross-functional project management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders such as customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and product management teams.
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments is advantageous.
Background in accountancy, learning, or business development is beneficial, particularly within professional bodies or accounting associations.
Knowledge of business operations and market dynamics in India and China is an asset.
Fluency in Chinese is an added advantage.
