What you will be working on: To work closely with internal & external stakeholders to enhance the programme and coaches’ ability to better contribute to overall outcomes and narratives placing emphasis on sport safety and safe sport. To work closely with internal & external stakeholders to augment the A&Cs curriculum. To identify areas of synergy and integration, improvements and propose recommended solutions to improve overall experience for all stakeholders. To conduct needs analysis, design and implement impact measurement tools to demonstrate the impact of Sport Safety & Safe Sport. To work closely with all A&Cs Leads to ensure quality engagement of coaches. To manage and monitor coaches’ NROC membership and other relevant coaching status to safeguard Sport SG’s interest. To liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Coach SG, Sports Safety, ATC) to design and develop training curriculum for coaches plus mapping out the areas of collaboration. To work with external stakeholders (e.g. NSA, NYSI, overseas partners) on the delivery of professional enhancement courses for A&Cs coaches. To actively source for potential partnerships and outreach platforms and channels that will increase the awareness and mindshare of the coaches. To ensure all administrative matters are attended to promptly and record management are archived appropriately. To support the Team Lead and assigned roles whenever required. To support events and initiatives organised/ supported/ partnered by the academies and clubs, and SDG in general. All other admin functions that required to perform for the team. What we are looking for: We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: At least 5 years of proven experience and/ track record in relevant areas, e.g. sport/coaching development, physical education related areas. Good understanding of Singapore sporting ecosystem. Experience in developing, evaluating programmes and curriculum. Prior experience in coach development, Sport Safety and Safe Sport will be an advantage. Able to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds and different positions. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Good organisational, management and administrative skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good planning, organising and project management skills. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Has the passion for sport. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2/3-year contract in the first instance.
