Assistant Manager, Student Administration (Care, Serve, Learn Office)Join to apply for the Assistant Manager, Student Administration (Care, Serve, Learn Office)role at Nanyang Technological University Singapore Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has launched the "Care, Serve, Learn" (CSL) initiative as a compulsory, credit‐bearing course series for all undergraduates admitted from Academic Year 2025 onwards. Integrated into the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) curriculum, CSL bridges academic learning with meaningful community service, aiming to cultivate socially responsible, empathetic, and civically engaged graduates. Through structured training, hands‐on service with partner organisations, and individual and team‐based reflective learning, students develop vital skills such as active listening, advocacy, and project management. The initiative builds on NTU's strong culture of volunteerism and reflects a broader educational vision that blends intellectual growth with real‐world impact. The new initiative will be managed by the new CSL office. Role Overview The role of the Assistant Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and administration of the CSL course series. The role requires close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the CSL initiative's success. Key Responsibilities Programme Leadership & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of the CSL course series and ensure alignment of the initiatives with NTU's undergraduate education vision, focusing on experiential learning, professional and personal development, and community/social service impact. Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Engage with alumni, donors, government agencies, non‐profit organisations, and other partners to foster long‐term involvement and support for CSL requirements. Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Monitor implementation effectiveness through data collection, analysis, and stakeholder feedback, propose enhancements and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of CSL delivery. Collaboration & Integration with Team: Work closely with CSL team members and both internal and external stakeholders to integrate CSL into the broader academic programme, fostering cohesion across all undergraduate initiatives. Requirements A Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, social sciences, business, or a related field. 5‐6 years of relevant experience in programme management, community service and engagement, or experiential learning. Resourceful with strong work prioritisation, stakeholder management, event planning, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills to engage government agencies, non‐profit organisations, donors, and alumni to drive collaboration, support, and funding opportunities. Prior experience in higher education or social impact projects is a plus. Adept at both strategic planning and on‐the‐ground execution of initiatives. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‐functional teams. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment with evolving priorities. Commitment to empowering students through experiential learning, professional development, and impactful community service. Experience in managing programme budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring financial sustainability of service‐learning and fundraising initiatives.
