We are looking for experienced and motivated Head of Sales to lead and implement effective business strategies for the profitability of the company. The Head of Sales is responsible for managing the company's resources to achieve sales and profit targets in line with the approved annual business plan, budget, and subsequent forecasts. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record with strong leadership, the ability to motivate, delegate, and lead business development and sales. Prior experience in the FMCG industry and familiarity with all sales channels (fresh produce) is crucial for this role. Business Development / Sales Identify and develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth in retail and cross-selling between group companies. Lead the Sales Team to execute strategic sales plans aimed at growing revenue and clientele. Grow sustainable and profitable business with all existing key accounts. Oversee and negotiate commercial terms of sales. Manage selling price and margin, identifying opportunities to increase market shares. Create a positive and engaging experience for customers and develop long-term relationships. Regularly report on sales performance to senior management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all sales activities. Train and mentor sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture within the team. Requirements The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and build new business for the company. Strong people management and communication skills are essential for the successful applicant. People and task orientation must be balanced and optimized for performance. Able to think critically when making plans and demonstrate the ability to execute a particular strategy. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5 - 10 years of prior industry-related business development/sales experience. Proven knowledge and execution of successful development sales strategies. Strong people management skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment with internal and external parties. Demonstrated understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the region. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
