Job Description:
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Befriending Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the frequency, reliability, and quality of befriending services aimed at alleviating loneliness and improving the quality of life for socially isolated seniors.
Responsibilities:
Reach out and engage seniors referred to the Association through phone calls and home visits, conducting periodic assessments and coordinating care needs.
Monitor and review volunteer-submitted visit reports to update the status of seniors and prevent any lapse in services.
Oversee the administrative coordination and management of seniors' activities and programs, ensuring their timely execution and quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with seniors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Availability to work evenings and weekends when required.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Passion for working with seniors and improving their well-being.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in tasks and documentation.
