Tatler Asia is seeking an experienced and visionary
Regional Social Media Director
to shape and lead our social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a creative strategist with a sharp editorial eye, a data-informed mindset, and a deep understanding of social media's power to drive brand equity, audience growth, and monetisation in the luxury lifestyle space.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional, best-in-class social media strategy that drives growth, engagement, and brand visibility across all major platforms.
Guide the development of high-impact social-first content that embodies Tatler's luxury voice while remaining relevant, timely, and platform-native.
Spearhead bold, creative experimentation in content and formats—including AI-generated content, short-form video, and interactive storytelling—to captivate and grow our audience.
Partner closely with editorial, events, and commercial teams to align content strategy with company business objectives.
Build and nurture relationships with influencers, creators, and tastemakers to amplify content and expand reach.
Leverage audience insights, analytics, and social listening to continuously refine organic and paid content strategies and inform editorial decision-making.
Stay ahead of digital trends, identifying new creative formats, engagement strategies, and content opportunities to elevate the Tatler brand.
Cultivate a high-energy, collaborative, creative and agile culture across social media editors in the region.
Develop a test-and-learn approach, leveraging data to experiment with new formats, content types, and audience growth tactics.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience as a creative leader in social media, preferably at an entertainment or lifestyle media company.
A deep understanding of digital culture, including social-first storytelling, video best practices and AI use cases in social media.
Deep knowledge of platform best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp.
Proven hands-on experience producing high quality social media content, managing social media accounts and managing paid media budgets.
An analytical approach to creativity, using data and insights to craft high impact content strategies initiatives.
Proven experience influencing and managing high-performing teams.
Exceptional collaboration skills.
Deep understanding and enthusiasm around emerging trends in content and technology, including the use of AI in content creation, distribution and monetisation.
Comfortable working at the intersection of content and commerce, aligning storytelling with revenue opportunities across events, partnerships, and branded content
Strong grasp of the luxury, lifestyle, and cultural landscape in Asia.
