**Seafood Department Manager Position**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seafood Department Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in seafood management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the seafood department, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer satisfaction, and store cleanliness. You will manage inventory, staff scheduling, and training, while maintaining a positive relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the seafood department, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality seafood products for sale by monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain proper seafood storage, handling, and display procedures to ensure food safety and product freshness.
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledge about seafood types, preparation, and cooking methods.
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to promote seafood products and increase sales.
  • Track and report on sales, inventory levels, and profitability.
  • Enforce food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in seafood management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of seafood products, preparation, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Food safety certification is preferred.
