Interim Head of Finance – Singapore – 6‐12 month Contract (potential to go permanent)We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the financial integration and operations of a newly acquired service and project business under a new operational entity in Singapore. Position Overview We will establish a robust financial foundation for the business, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency throughout the post‐acquisition phase and beyond. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the financial aspects of integrating the acquired business into the new entity. Establish and manage the monthly financial closing and reporting cycle in collaboration with Group Finance leadership. Partner closely with the Managing Director and local management team, providing strategic financial insights and hands‐on support to drive stable operations and sustainable growth. Oversee financial operations during the transition service agreement (TSA) period, including managing payments, subcontracting costs, and license arrangements. Ensure full compliance with Singaporean tax laws, statutory reporting requirements and internal control standards. Liaise with auditors, external advisors and the wider Group Finance team to ensure smooth financial governance and reporting. Team and Reporting Structure Lead a small team of two local finance professionals during the TSA phase. Future permanent team structure will be determined and implemented during 2026. Report directly to the Group CFO, with a functional reporting line to the Managing Director. Work closely with both local and international finance teams on a daily basis. Qualifications and Experience Master's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an international corporate reporting environment. Fluency in English (mandatory)Proficiency in one or more official Singapore languages is preferred (e.g., Chinese, Malay, or Tamil). Strong knowledge of the Singapore business landscape and local financial regulations. Hands‐on experience implementing or working with ERP, CRM or management information systems. Prior experience in service or project‐oriented industries such as energy, marine or industrial sectors is advantageous. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Oracle JD Edwards and reporting tools such as HFM or OneStream is beneficial.
