Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in creating authentic North and South Indian dishes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of menu innovation, kitchen operations management, and the ability to supervise staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement seasonal menus that showcase the diversity of Indian regional cuisines.
- Plan and execute catering services for events and promotions, ensuring high-quality food presentation and taste.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and portioning standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, manage food procurement, and optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Enforce compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional menus and ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of professional culinary experience, including at least 3 years in a senior chef role.
- Proven expertise in Indian regional cuisines, with a strong track record of menu development and innovation.
- Familiarity with Singapore's food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
