Indian Cuisine Specialist
A talented and experienced Indian Cuisine Specialist is required to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
The Indian Cuisine Specialist will be responsible for following recipes and adjusting spices and ingredients to meet customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and cooking of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
- Following recipes and adjusting spices and ingredients to meet customer preferences
- Managing food prep, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work area
- Ensuring proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Ordering and managing inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Indian cuisine cooking
- Knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Ability to adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences
