Are you an experienced
Application Support Analyst
with a strong background in financial services? Our client, a world-leading commodity broker, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Singapore, providing technical support for critical front-office and post-trade applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support for trading and back-office platforms.
Manage vendor system upgrades and oversee implementations.
Handle exchange relationships and lead mandatory upgrades.
Support technical client onboarding and new system integrations.
Develop and deploy PowerShell scripts to enhance business functions.
Oversee incident management in line with ITIL standards.
Maintain and update process documentation for trading systems.
Produce monthly transactional and volume reports across all systems.
Ensure regulatory compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements.
Work in rotating shifts (6:30 AM – 7:30 PM) and provide occasional holiday/weekend coverage.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in a financial services environment, ideally in banking or trading.
Strong knowledge of trading/clearing/settlement processes for futures and OTC energy trades.
Technical expertise in Windows, Linux/Unix OS, SQL & Oracle databases.
Experience with FIX messaging protocols (minimum 2 years).
Hands-on experience with financial market platforms such as TT, Stellar, Deltix, ATEO, IBM MQ/Algorithmics & RANTask.
Familiarity with market connectivity protocols for global derivatives, commodities, cash, and equity markets.
Experience in technical onboarding of APIs & systems.
Strong incident management skills with a focus on troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Ability to work under demanding conditions while maintaining a calm and structured approach.
