Job Description
Senior Regional Manager to spearhead the launch and growth of online international postgraduate degrees in the Southeast Asian market. This role focuses on driving market expansion for world-class university partners and forging partnerships with education agencies, corporate sponsors, and government bodies to build a powerful network and drive student enrolment in the working professional market (post-experience postgraduate students).
Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Development: co-develop go-to-market (GTM) strategy and lead GTM execution for a portfolio of online degrees with premium Australian universities; drive revenue through new market opportunities and strategic partnerships, including B2B channels with international education agencies, employer channels, government bodies, and similar.
Partnership & Relationship Management: form strong partnerships with SEA and Australian university teams; build and maintain relationships with education agencies, government bodies, corporate sponsors, and industry partners to unlock opportunities; act as the key contact for regional relationships and manage marketing, events, and/or sales agencies.
Stakeholder & Government Engagement: engage with government agencies and Australian diplomatic missions to raise awareness and penetration of online portfolios; represent university partners at industry events and delegations; advise senior leaders on stakeholder opportunities.
Marketing & Event Coordination: lead events-led GTM strategy to drive awareness and enrolments; ensure high-quality in-market activity and brand adherence across the student journey; coordinate with marketing and events agencies to support execution.
Performance & Reporting: understand Keypath strategy and OKRs; contribute to forecasts and regional P&L; meet/exceed targets across marketing funnel, lead generation, enrolment, and revenue; provide insights to senior leadership and adjust strategy as needed.
Compliance & Risk: ensure compliance with university policies and regional regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Experience: 10–15 years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally with high-touch, high-commitment, complex products.
Market Knowledge: success in developing GTM strategies and building B2B partnerships across Southeast Asia.
Financial Acumen: ability to manage budgets, forecast revenues, and oversee regional P&L.
Stakeholder Engagement: experience engaging with diverse stakeholders from government bodies to corporate partners and agencies.
Communication: excellent English verbal and written communication, with ability to represent the organisation at senior/public levels.
Regional Expertise: deep understanding of the Southeast Asian education landscape; adult learner market knowledge preferred.
Travel: role requires frequent travel throughout Singapore and Malaysia.
