SSP is a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, with c.43,000 colleagues in over 600 locations across nearly 40 countries. We operate sit-down and quick service restaurants, cafes, lounges and food-led convenience stores in airports and train stations, with a portfolio of around 550 international, national and local brands.
Our SSP Asia Pacific journey started in Thailand over 25 years ago. Since then, we have grown to more than 5,500 colleagues, 150 brands and 300 stores.
Our Crew members are the lifeblood of SSP. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders and preparing food according to SOP, upholding each of our brands' standards. You'll have the opportunity to recommend products, promote food items, and interact with new and repeat guests in the ever dynamic airport environment.
You will have opportunities to learn various stations within the brand. With some training and time, you will also be able to cross-train across brands, gaining exposure to a wide range of F&B concepts.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the outlet in line with the Restaurant Manager's and Operations Manager’s strategies of maximizing profitability and achieving customer satisfaction
To guide and coach new and existing staff
Undertake day-to-day restaurant operational tasks which include cashiering & the taking of food & beverages orders
Ensure the display of excellent customer service behaviours at all times, greet and welcome restaurant diners in a warm and friendly manner
Create high standards of customer experience, be attentive towards the customers and their queries
Ensure prompt serving/clearing of plates & utensils
Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the restaurant
Understands fully and implements all brand standards (e.g. Critical standards/product knowledge/planograms and display principles etc)
Supports the effective implementation of all new promotions, marketing activity and product launches to time and quality standards
Ensures all procedures are in place and adhered to with regard to cash handling
Fully understands and complies with all statutory requirements (e.g. Licensing, Risk Assessments, H&S;
Fire awareness. Accident reporting, Manual handling, Risk Assessments, Unit cleaning schedules etc)
Understands the crisis management process (e.g. local station evacuation procedures)
Actively manages all Maintenance issues – reporting, timely follow-up, escalation
Ensures Senior staff managing shifts have been appropriately trained
Requirements:
At least three (3) years of working experience in food service
Excellent interpersonal skills and moderately conversant in English as a universal language to communicate with international guests
Responsible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent team player, self-motivated, well-organized
