Pastry Chef Instructor

The Pastry Chef Instructor is a key member of our culinary team responsible for delivering high-quality training and instruction to students. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the required curriculum standards.
    • Provide experiential education to students, promoting a high level of student satisfaction.
    • Ensure students complete their courses as per course requirements.
    • Maintain academic standards of delivery in teaching and assessment.
    • Attend meetings and line-ups as scheduled.
    • Execute student evaluations and grading SOPs accurately and as scheduled.
    • Adhere to safety procedures in the kitchen and promote food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
    • Lead students to participate in pastry or bakery competitions.
    • Be a role model to students and colleagues, upholding Academy standards.
    • Support EasyChef Lab and License businesses as required.
    • Cultivate and maintain industry relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably Degree in Culinary Arts/Pastry & Bakery or equivalent qualifications.
  • Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is mandatory for this role.
