Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Maintain a conducive learning environment
  • • Assist learners with enrollment and SkillsFuture credit applications
  • • Ensure the studio is tidy
  • • Perform general receptionist duties
  • Classroom Setup & Maintenance:
  • • Prepare and arrange the classroom for daily sessions
  • • Set up furniture and learning materials
  • • Ensure all training resources are available and accessible
  • • Maintain a conducive and organized learning environment
  • Learner Assistance & Enrollment Support:
  • • Guide learners through the enrollment process
  • • Assist with SkillsFuture credit applications
  • • Provide accurate information on course schedules, prerequisites, and learning pathways
  • • Support learners with administrative documentation and general queries
  • Studio Cleanliness & Material Display:
  • • Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • • Organize and maintain the display of course materials and promotional items
  • • Assist instructors in setting up engaging and professional material presentations
  • Reception & Customer Service:
  • • Greet and attend to learners, visitors, and instructors in a warm and professional manner
  • • Manage incoming calls, email inquiries, and student attendance records
  • • Support coordination of meetings, workshops, and studio events
  • Administrative & Operational Support:
  • • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • • Provide responsive support to instructors and studio staff as needed
  • Inventory Management:
  • • Monitor and update inventory records for classroom and studio supplies
  • • Conduct regular checks to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained
  • • Notify relevant team members when stock is low to facilitate timely reordering

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills:
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • • Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, email, etc.)
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • • Previous experience in a similar role or educational setting

Working Hours: Flexible working hours primarily during weekday evenings and weekends
