Telecommunications Specialist

The primary function of this role is to provide technical expertise in telecommunications and unified communications. The specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement telecommunications solutions.
- Analyze and recommend solutions for streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Support multiple locations worldwide and troubleshoot issues as required.
- Implement, support, and test system patching, hardening, hardware/software upgrades, system updates, and break/fix activities on telecommunications equipment.
- Interact with internal and external customer groups to perform necessary configuration, MACDs, or repairs.
- Support hardware/software maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades for workstations and servers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications operations, hardware, software, systems, and management.
- 2 years of experience in telecommunications required.
- Cisco training preferred.
