Telecommunications Specialist

Job Overview
A Telecommunications Specialist designs, installs and oversees voice, data and video communication systems. They work with companies to select suitable hardware and software for telecommunications.
The role involves evaluating new equipment to determine its application, performance and functional requirements. Specialists also perform testing and repair of mobile equipment and provide technical support to internal and external customers.
In addition, they establish the networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation. Reporting to management on improvement processes is also part of the job.
