About This Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by supporting them to adopt an active lifestyle and pre-empt social isolation. The successful candidate will work closely with primary care physicians to empower residents to take control of their own journey towards healthy and active lifestyles.

The role requires someone who is passionate about working with seniors and volunteers, with good communication and presentation skills, as well as strong organisational and administrative abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment of seniors to our Active Ageing Centre
  • Planning and implementing programmes and activities that cater to the needs of our seniors
  • Monitoring and supporting seniors to age well in the community
  • Engaging with the community for collaboration and partnership
  • Recruiting and supporting volunteers
  • Providing administrative and logistical support for activities and events
Requirements:
  • Passionate about working with seniors and volunteers
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good organising and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Related qualification in working with the elderly or in the social service sector, is advantageous
