Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Business Development Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-level strategic growth initiatives, business development, analytics, and audience planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of key campaign projects, leading and building strategic responses to briefs across the client portfolio.
  • Work with internal business leads, as well as clients and agency partners to deploy business strategies and platforms.
  • Develop relevant consumer, culture, and brand insights to inform business and channel strategy.
  • Find innovative business opportunities and identify additional opportunities for key clients to demonstrate strategic value.
  • Develop and/or share thought leadership, proactively sharing new ideas or projects, bringing forward-thinking solutions to business challenges and helping clients grow.
  • Assist with identifying award-winning opportunities and champion business products.
  • Be an expert in the process and the platform/tools, helping drive understanding and uptake across the organization.
  • Keep on top of industry trends, including key trends, regulatory changes, and digital innovations that shape the business landscape.
  • Help upskill & mentor more junior business members, conducting training initiatives and industry updates to enhance the team's expertise.
  • Be a key contributor to business processes, providing strategic insights and solutions that drives business growth.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years in business development roles, including within a strategic business development role.
  • A proven track record of leading business development initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills – working with different client teams, agency, and partner stakeholders to gain alignment around a focused business approach.
  • Solid understanding of the business landscape to ensure strategies are implementable.
  • Open-minded and flexible in thought and tactics.
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills.
