We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Community Engagement Coordinator.

This role involves assessing and meeting the volunteer needs of a community organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, recruiting, coordinating, training, and retaining volunteers
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to volunteer management
  • Planning, developing, and executing senior volunteer programmes
  • Supporting leadership development for volunteers
  • Organising events to recognise and engage volunteers
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate volunteer initiatives

You will also be responsible for sourcing and building partnerships with relevant organisations, such as grassroots groups, corporations, and schools. Additionally, you will develop and manage communication plans and strategies to support community engagement projects.

Requirements include:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as community services or social sciences
  • Relevant experience in volunteer management or community development
  • Comfortable working with seniors and other community members
