Volunteer Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Management Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to recruit and retain committed volunteers. This includes overseeing end-to-end volunteer administration, including registration, scheduling, and record-keeping. The Volunteer Management Specialist will also be responsible for organizing and coordinating volunteer training sessions and engagement activities, planning and managing logistics for volunteer events and programmes, and preparing reports and proposals related to volunteer initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about volunteering and has strong administrative and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have a minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field and will be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to recruit and retain committed volunteers.
  • Oversee end-to-end volunteer administration, including registration, scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Organize and coordinate volunteer training sessions and engagement activities.
  • Plan and manage logistics for volunteer events and programmes.
  • Prepare reports and proposals related to volunteer initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Comfortable working with concurrent deadlines.
