Job Description

This role involves overseeing all aspects of volunteering within the organization. The volunteer manager is responsible for recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work or a related field, with experience in community healthcare settings. They should be able to develop and maintain networks and partnerships with various community partners.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Oversee all elements of volunteering within the organization
  • Recruit and retain volunteers
  • Maintain relationships with community partners
  • Develop and implement programs to support residents' social needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or advanced diploma in social work or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in community healthcare settings
  • Hands-on experience in a community partnership role
  • Good knowledge of geriatrics and community services
