About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Volunteer Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of volunteering within our community.

  • Manage volunteer recruitment, deployment, and engagement strategies to ensure optimal volunteer utilization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to foster a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance volunteer experiences and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of volunteers, including their skills, availability, and participation history.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute volunteer events, programs, and activities that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree or advanced diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community healthcare settings, preferably in Singapore.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including volunteers, staff, and community members.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
