We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Global Trustee and Fiduciary Services. If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impact, this role could be the perfect fit.



About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a Fund/REIT portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations, laws, and constitutional documents. They will also deliver professional services to clients, cultivate strong relationships, and review trust documentation to safeguard HSBC interests.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client documents and Fund/REIT information in accordance with internal procedures
  • Cultivate and develop strong relationships with senior members of clients, meeting with them to discuss issues and enquire into the operation of Funds and REITs
  • Review and negotiate transactional documents to ensure compliance with regulations and fulfill trustee obligations
  • Assist in financial planning to achieve cost targets set for the team, providing accurate Management Information Statistics in a timely fashion
  • Ensure provision of service quality across Trustee and Fiduciary Services disciplines, management of operational processes to meet or exceed service level requirements
  • Lead in project management projects from time to time, reviewing documentations, or reviewing internal processes due to regulatory changes or implementation of new measures with clients/team due to compliance, audit, or internal requirements
  • Maintain excellent relationships with various internal stakeholders, including Off Shore teams, communicating with them in a professional, clear, and concise manner and meeting all deadlines


About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:




  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 6 years of working experience in delivery of excellent customer service and proactively looking for ways to improve
  • Prior experiences in the funds trustee, investment compliance monitoring, real estate investment trust, legal document review, audit, or risk management will be useful
  • A track record of making complex business decisions with authority and dominance, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long-term risks and implications
