Job Title: Assistant Manager

As a key member of our leasing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving occupancy rates and rental revenue through the formulation and implementation of strategic leasing initiatives. You will work closely with operations, marketing communications, and finance teams to improve tenant satisfaction and enhance overall property performance.

  • Formulate and implement strategic leasing initiatives aimed at optimizing occupancy rates and rental revenue.
  • Manage and provide direction and guidance to the team in the execution of leasing strategies.
  • Assist in leasing negotiations, coordinating viewings, providing regular leasing reports and updates to management as and when required, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying target tenants and actively pursuing new leasing opportunities.
  • Conducting market research to stay up-to-date on retail market trends.
  • Preparing leasing budgets and quarterly forecasts, and monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Fostering strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
  • Responding promptly to tenant inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Monitoring and tracking tenants' performance and compliance with lease agreements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Real Estate, Building Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum years of leasing experience in commercial or retail property sectors.
  • Proven track record in achieving leasing targets and managing tenant relationships.
  • Knowledge of lease terms, legal requirements, and property management principles.
  • Positive disposition and strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, resourcefulness, an eye for detail, and work within timelines.
