- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and healthcare standards.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of food safety.
- Implement corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, train, and supervise food service staff, promoting teamwork and a positive working culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development programs.
- Motivate and support staff to deliver excellent service under pressure.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with hospital administration and external service providers to align food service operations with patient care priorities.
- Act as a key liaison between hospital management and catering teams, addressing service feedback and implementing improvements.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation for food service operations.
- Monitor vendor performance and manage procurement of food and beverage supplies.
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with contractual obligations.
