Director of Food Service Operations

This is a leadership role that oversees multiple food service outlets and restaurants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure daily operations run smoothly, allocating resources efficiently. Develop procedures to maintain consistency across outlets, managing inventory and supply chains for optimal profitability.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety: Monitor quality control standards and enforce compliance with regulations. Conduct audits, staff training, and corrective actions to maintain high product and service quality.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and motivate teams. Implement talent development programs, succession planning, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Sales, Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns. Expand brand presence through digital marketing, partnerships, and community engagement. Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Financial Acumen: Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and P&L reports. Analyse financial performance and implement cost-effective measures to maximise profitability. Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in F&B management, with at least 3 years in a multi-outlet leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality control, and operational best practices.
  • Proven track record in marketing, branding, and business growth within the F&B industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
