Human Resources Associate Job Description

We are seeking an HR Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that our employees feel valued, supported, and motivated throughout their entire journey with us.

This role involves leading initiatives that shape meaningful employee experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on employee retention and be able to anticipate employee needs, design inclusive programs, and act with ownership and urgency across all touchpoints in the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives that are inclusive, purposeful, and tailored to team needs.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for event delivery, proactively plan for risks, and follow through on feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle – onboarding, transfers, and offboarding – with thoughtfulness and precision to ensure every touchpoint is handled smoothly and respectfully.
  • Act as a trusted HR liaison, responding to employee queries on HR policies and processes with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Craft clear and engaging communications to support HR initiatives and cultural moments.
  • Monitor and evaluate initiatives, tracking participation and feedback, measuring effectiveness, and proposing data-informed improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Psychology, HRM, Organisational Behaviour or related fields from a recognized university and 1–3 years of experience in employee engagement, learning & development, or HR operations. Strong ownership mindset, ability to work with urgency and thoughtfulness, empathy-driven and detail-oriented, excellent communicator, and team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are essential skills for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Psychology, HRM, Organisational Behaviour or related fields from a recognized university.
  • 1–3 years of experience in employee engagement, learning & development, or HR operations.
  • Strong ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work with urgency and thoughtfulness.
  • Empathy-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
