Optical Systems Development Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality. You will also qualify active and passive optical components, develop and benchmark system performance models, and evaluate and select appropriate test instrumentation.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize laser systems.
  • Maintain and update documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support production activities by troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance to manufacturing technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in laser processing and manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), DOE, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
