Aesthetic Laser Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aesthetic Laser Specialist to fill a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of aesthetic laser devices and related medical equipment used in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and medspa environments.

You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure the safety, performance, and reliability of laser systems. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing basic training and support to users on the safe operation of laser systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Setup: Install and configure aesthetic laser systems at client locations or in-clinic environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair technical faults on various laser platforms, including diode, Nd:YAG, CO2, and Alexandrite lasers.
  • Calibration & Testing: Perform regular calibration, performance verification, and preventative maintenance to ensure laser systems operate within established parameters.
  • Training & Support: Provide technical training and support to clinical users on the safe operation and effective use of laser systems.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (FDA, IEC, ANSI) and adhere to strict laser safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate service logs, technical reports, and maintenance records to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with manufacturers for parts replacement, upgrades, and technical bulletins to stay current with advancements in laser technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with aesthetic or medical laser devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple clinic locations and participate in international projects as required.
