Lead Pastry Professional

We are seeking an experienced pastry professional to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing and producing raw materials/finished goods, and maintaining a clean and sanitary cooking station.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in a catering company, bakery, or cake shop environment. They will possess good knowledge of various cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates, and other desserts, as well as the ability to finish cream-based, mousse-based, and cheese cakes. Local trends, taste, and flavor profiles are a plus.
A strong understanding of health and safety standards, ISO 22000/HACCP/HALAL records, and the ability to supervise Commies Chefs is also essential. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent time management skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow orders and advice from supervisors/junior sous chefs to complete tasks within acceptable time frames.
- Manage inventory and liaise with relevant departments for purchasing.
- Daily preparation, production, and storage of raw materials/finished goods while maintaining costs and ensuring consistency of quality products.
- Maintain a lean, orderly, and sanitary cooking station that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Supervise Commies Chefs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working pastry/cakes in a catering company, bakery, cake shops or similar.
- Good knowledge of various cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates and other desserts.
- Knowledge of local trends, taste and flavour profile is a bonus.
- Should be able to finish Cakes (cream based , mousse based and cheese cakes).
