Executive Pastry Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pastry lead to oversee the production process, drive innovation, and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation in our kitchen.

About this Role:

The Executive Pastry Lead will be responsible for leading the pastry team, managing kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and food safety protocols. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creativity and excellence in pastry arts.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee Production Process: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of pastry production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  2. Lead the Pastry Team: Train, guide, and supervise junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  3. Kitchen Operations: Manage scheduling, inventory control, and implement efficient kitchen practices to minimize waste and optimize productivity.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor product quality, enforce food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  5. Innovation and Creativity: Develop new recipes, menus, and concepts to stay ahead of trends and exceed customer expectations.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior pastry or leadership role.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
