We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Innovation Leader to drive the development of new pastry products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in pastry arts, with hands-on experience in product development, recipe documentation, and training.
This role combines creativity with operational feasibility, requiring a deep understanding of production scaling, ingredients, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Lead the ideation, development, and testing of new pastry products, aligned with our brand identity and customer trends.
- Recipe Documentation: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive recipe SOPs, including step-by-step methods, photos, and plating guidelines.
- Training & Capability Development: Train teams on new product execution and pastry standards, creating visual guides and training modules for knowledge transfer and consistency.
- Production Integration & Quality Control: Oversee production runs, ensuring recipes can be executed at scale without compromising quality, and conduct quality control checks during production.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Pastry & Baking Arts or equivalent professional training is advantageous.
- Prior hands-on pastry experience required. Prior experience in an R&D or product development role is advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and production scaling.
- Excellent documentation, training, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance creativity with operational feasibility.
