Key Responsibilities:Quality and Patient Safety:
- Ensure seamless transitions for residents between acute and chronic care settings.
- Supervise direct resident care to ensure adherence to established standards.
Care Delivery:
- Effectively manage skills mix and staffing levels to meet service demands.
Staff Management:
- Design and facilitate training programs for staff development including formal education and in-house training.
- Guide orientation and mentorship programs for new hires.
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Nursing required.
- A minimum of 4 years of clinical or management experience as a Nurse Manager preferred.
- Nursing Home experience beneficial.
