Lead Nursing Professional

Job Summary:

We seek a visionary and experienced Lead Nursing Professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient care to residents and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading nursing teams, promoting quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of registered and enrolled nurses, nursing aides, healthcare assistants, and healthcare attendants, including oversight of multi-disciplinary care providers such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, medical social workers, and others.
  • Ensure the smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to the community, where possible.
  • Direct care of residents to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
  • Ensure written policies and procedures are available and up-to-date to guide nursing care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective staffing plans and strategies to meet the needs of the nursing home.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 4 years of clinical or management experience as a Nurse Manager.
  • Nursing Home experience is preferred.
  • Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts based on rostering.
