Finance Operations Professional

This role is focused on managing end-to-end processing, accounting and reconciliation of distribution compensation to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely payouts.

  • End-to-end process management involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, which includes managing accounting, reconciliations and distribution of compensation.
  • A key aspect of this role is performing regular financial closings, including journal postings, provisions and amortizations in line with accounting policies and schedules.
  • The role also involves reviewing and validating compensation reports, campaign payments and supporting dissemination within agreed timelines.
  • Maintaining and updating process documentation (SOPs), business provisions and incentive scheme administration are essential components of this position.
  • Supporting internal, external and regulatory audits through accurate reporting, reconciliations and audit schedules is critical for this role.
  • Additionally, participating in compensation-related projects, enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT) and system issue resolution are important aspects of this job.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of experience in compensation operations is required for this role.
  • A strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliation processes and accounting for compensation-related transactions is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to deadlines and accuracy is crucial.
  • Skilled in identifying and mitigating operational risks through embedded process controls and compliance practices is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and levels is vital.
  • Experience supporting audits, system enhancements and business requirement gathering for finance operations is desirable.
