Job Title: Compensation Expert

As a Compensation Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that align with our organization's goals. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our compensation frameworks are competitive and fair.

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that support business objectives
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of compensation frameworks and policies
  • Drive annual salary increment and bonus exercises
  • Ensure alignment of compensation frameworks with organizational values and HR strategies
  • Represent the organization in workgroups and project teams led by external stakeholders
  • Consolidate feedback from institutions and provide data-backed recommendations to stakeholders
  • Coordinate implementation planning and change management across institutions
  • Support union negotiations for bonuses and increments
  • Manage implementation of changes, including system configuration and communications
  • Lead the regular review and enhancement of compensation policies
  • Collaborate with HR Technology and Shared Services teams to ensure policy alignment
  • Participate in market benchmarking and salary surveys
  • Analyse compensation trends and assess competitiveness
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for management consideration
  • Lead the development of compensation-related budget parameters
  • Communicate the parameters to stakeholders for their incorporation in manpower budget
  • Provide regular manpower budget updates to stakeholders for their planning and projections
  • Partner with HR Technology, Project, Shared Services, and institutions Compensation teams to ensure smooth implementation
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., Global Remuneration Professional) is an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience with a strong focus in Compensation
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data using Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement in large complex organizations
  • Excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in SuccessFactors Compensation Module is an advantage
