Job Title: Senior Manager EHS">

The Senior Manager EHS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene (IH) programs for the Tuas II facility in Singapore are effectively administered and developed.

This position requires strategic leadership and guidance to achieve performance objectives and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Pfizer's own standards.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Serve as the EHS Lead for Tuas 2 operations and supervise the EHS team supporting Tuas 2 operations.">
  • Effectively lead and manage site EHS initiatives.">
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations, industry standards, and Pfizer's standards.">
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking and lead the implementation of improvements to the EHS programs.">
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable results across EHS projects/programs, assessments, and resulting action plans.">
  • Lead the efforts to assure implementation of identified actions in accordance with identified target dates.">
  • Define and implement the strategic direction for capital projects and facility changes related to EHS.">
  • Monitor emerging process safety requirements throughout the industry and initiate proactive gap closure actions of industry best practices.">
  • Lead Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.">

The successful candidate will have the ability to create competence requirements and curriculum for EHS training for all colleagues.

They will also be responsible for managing and assisting with the mitigation of identified gaps and improvement opportunities, ensuring the site has prioritized (risk-based), actionable strategies, and that effective metrics are utilized to monitor progress and performance.

Additionally, this role involves being a primary contact to Pfizer Global EHS and relevant regulatory agencies, if needs arise, and participating in cross-functional Safety Committee.
