Job Title: Workplace Safety Professional

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, we employ over 60,000 professionals worldwide who share a common goal: shaping the future of cities.

In this role, you will support business improvement in workplace safety management, performance understanding, and compliance within their organizational responsibility areas. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and continually improve our workplace safety framework.

The successful candidate will have recognized professional qualifications in occupational health and safety, at least 5 years' experience as a WSH Officer with MOM, and good knowledge of relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive workplace safety management system, including worker, user, and third-party safety
  • Cultivate a culture of workplace safety awareness and actively promote it among colleagues
  • Compile and maintain accurate safety documentation with the unit safety team
  • Participate in and contribute to the unit's safety committee and other related forums
  • Provide expert advice and support on matters affecting workplace safety
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement projects to enhance workplace safety
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and KONE subcontractors to ensure safe working practices
  • Support the development and review of crisis and emergency response plans

Requirements:

  • Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., WSH Officer)
  • At least 5+ years' experience in building construction or a related field
  • Good understanding of relevant workplace safety regulations and standards
  • Project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in digital environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
