Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the well-being of our employees and the sustainability of our operations. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining our company's high standards and adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Establishing and managing ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001 standards
  • Serving as the Company Internal Auditor and coordinating external audits to ensure the highest level of integrity
  • Implementing HSE programs in the yard, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
  • Leading the HSE team and overseeing all occupational health, safety, security, environmental, and quality management aspects of the organization
  • Collaborating with department heads to implement Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control measures
  • Monitoring environmental and hazardous materials to prevent adverse impacts
  • Providing first aid assistance when needed
  • Conducting regular safety patrols and monitoring safe work conditions
  • Distributing general briefings and toolbox talks to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols
  • Developing and delivering safety inductions for new employees
  • Maintaining and displaying HSE alerts, safety signs, and safety information on the HSE notice board
  • Conducting regular inspections of HSE equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance
  • Staying updated on the latest conventions and industry practices through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum degree qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
  • At least 5 years of experience in QHSE works within a shipyard environment
  • Familiarity with establishing ISO 9001 standards
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
