About the Role

Porsche Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced and results-driven Pre-Owned Car Sales Manager to lead and oversee the pre-owned car business management and operations in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our pre-owned car segment, achieving volume and profitability targets, and positioning Porsche Singapore as the preferred dealer for pre-owned Porsches in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position Porsche Singapore as the Authorised and Preferred Dealer: Promote the awareness and benefits of Porsche Approved Programme amongst consumers.
  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Develop and implement business strategies, initiatives, and operational plans for the pre-owned car segment to drive growth and achieve volume and profitability targets.
  • Pre-Owned Car Pricing Strategy: Develop pre-owned car pricing strategy including setting of residual value, trade-in and selling pricing for pre-owned Porsches.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of pre-owned car inventory, including strategy development, sourcing, researching, evaluation, purchasing, and pricing vehicles to ensure an efficient pre-owned car stock turnover.
  • Sales and Marketing Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to maximise revenue and market share in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the pre-owned car division as well as analyse financial performance and implement measures to optimise profitability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders e.g. aftersales workshop on Porsche refurbishment process (i.e. 111 pt. check) to ensure all pre-owned Porsches meet the stringent requirements for Porsche Approved Warranty.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching as well as foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, customer excitement and professional growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, standards and company policies. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields
  • 5-8 years of working experience in the Automotive industry
  • Experience in leading a pre-owned car operations team in the automotive industry, preferably with high-end brands.
  • Proven track record of success in pre-owned car sales
  • A team player with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Required to perform shift work including weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • A valid class 3 driving license and clean driving record
