Culinary Operations Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in menu preparation, food safety regulations, and teamwork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing menu dishes according to health and sanitary norms, managing raw materials, and coordinating with the team to ensure precision and attention to detail.
In addition, the candidate will be required to use proper cooking techniques, apply control procedures on conservation status, signal depleted products/ingredients, and check expirations.
The Culinary Operations Specialist will also collaborate with the service area to ensure proper service timing and fulfill customer requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu dishes, adhering to health and sanitary norms, while working in a team.
- Manage raw materials, assess their freshness, and store them according to FDA standards.
- Coordinate with the team to prepare dishes, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Use proper cooking techniques and apply control procedures on conservation status.
- Signal depleted products/ingredients, check expirations, and compile reports on daily stock levels.
- Collaborate with the service area to ensure proper service timing and fulfill customer requests.
Requirements:
- Punctual attendance.
- Knowledge of recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with FDA standards and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to lift up to 25kg.
