Culinary Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily food production, preparation, and presentation of our restaurant operations, including in-room dining and banquet functions.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene. You will work closely with our Sous Chef, Chinese Head Chef, and Chinese Executive Chef to ensure that all culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain adherence to hotel policies and procedures, as well as HACCP guidelines
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of workstations and equipment
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to address hazardous situations and potential dangers
* Prepare mise-en-place for various dishes, including vegetables, fruits, seafood, poultry, and farinaceous items
* Consistently prepare high-quality food items for A La Carte, Buffet, and Festive menus, adhering to hotel recipes and standards
* Establish and maintain effective employee relationships and participate in kitchen briefings and meetings
Requirements:
* Diploma or Vocational certificate in Culinary Skills or related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience in full-service restaurants or local/international hotels in high-volume kitchens
* Commitment to working rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Valid Food Hygiene/Food Handler certificate as required by local government
* Outgoing and people-oriented personality
* Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
